This chocolate is so easy to work with for making homemade molded chocolates. We have used it for years for our traditional chocolate making at Christmas. It melts easily in the microwave, and it molds beautifully. The molded chocolates have a nice shine and a crisp bite. I was very disappointed when I could not find it locally, so hurray for Amazon. And this price is great. Direct from Ghirardelli's, it's $10 a box!!

For a great chocolate treat, mix some rice krispies in some of the chocolate and fill a nice-sized mold halfway. Lay a small piece of caramel apple wrap in the mold and then fill the remainder with plain chocolate. Voila! a home-made $100,000 bar.
