I didn't use to like these when they first came out in the 60's. But fast forward more than 20 years later and I found myself not only eating them but craving them. Discovered I was extremely low on Potassium and that explained it. At that time they showed the levels on the back of the bar at around 350mg per regular size bar. These no longer show the K+ level and the last time they did it had gone down which means fewer nuts and fruit but over all I grew to really enjoy these even long after my K+ levels were no longer low. Ok avacodo's might have more K+ and rank right up there in flavor and enjoyment but once in a while I've got to have one of these and this is the best deal. The large bars that is with free shipping etc. I just limit my snack to no more than 2 of the squares a day to no more than 4 and they last a long time. When this box arrived I handed it to my husband to hide and give to me at Xmas. I make lots of homemade candy including a family favorite Turtle recipe I developed years ago. I can't eat those and make them only for everyone else.....so these are kind of my turtle fix while making the real things for friends. I think I can't handle raw pecans which my turtle recipe calls for. Some day I'll roast the pecans and see if that makes a difference. Until then these are a fun treat you just can't find in the stores very often. Pamida carried them until last year though then they sold them off as a close out.
